It's all about the song
Chris Iverson
Southern California born singer/songwriter Chris Iverson picked up a guitar at nineteen, wrote his first song three months later and continues his songwriting journey today some 700 songs down the line.
His first record, "Life Away" was written in his early twenties and released in 1985. After a six year stint (1987 - 1993) with Greg Thomson in the band, TEN SONS, Chris disappeared from the music scene while he was busy raising his two daughters and struggling through divorce.
His second record, "The Roar Of The Approaching Night" which chronicles Chris' life through divorce and break-up was released on CIM Records in 2005.
Inspired by the amazing men and women who participate and support the California AIDS Life Cycle event, Chris wrote and recorded "Songs For An AIDS Free World" which features the songs "Ride To Find The Cure," "Forever Young And Strong," "A Song Of Loss And Love" and "AIDS Free World." This EP was released in 2007 on CIM Records.
Chris began 2015 with the recording of "Jukebox Deluxe, Volume One" in Nashville, Tennessee. "I always dreamed of recording in Nashville, making a "Nashville record." Chris produced this CD with Larry Beaird at Beaird Music Group Studios in Nashville. This is Chris' first country record, with Jukebox Deluxe, Vol. 2 already written and to be recorded in late 2016.
